We regularly conduct maintenance or sometimes experience incidents on our services, see below all recently completed operations.
VPS-STORAGE-FR01: Hardware Upgrades (Task Complete, type: Maintenance, impacted: VPS-STORAGE-FR01).
Task created at: 23/03/2021 - 21:59 (UTC+0), completed between: 27/03/2021 - 00:00 (UTC+0) and 28/03/2021 - 23:59 (UTC+1).
We will carry out an upgrade in the infrastructure used for our Virtual Servers: Storage product range, providing increased allocations for our services alongside enabling essential maintenance and restructure on the infrastructure to take place. Please see our email sent out for further updates regarding this.
Please see below the start times for this operation based upon your server's IPv4 address:
5.196.153.XX: from 00:00 (12:00am) on 27th March 2021 (UTC+0) until early hours.
51.38.161.XX: from 18:00 (6:00pm) on 27th March 2021 (UTC+0) for up to two hours.
51.254.48.XXX: from 22:00 (10:00pm) on 27th March 2021 (UTC+0) until early hours.
37.59.194.XXX: from 16:00 (4:00pm) on 28th March 2021 (UTC+1) until late evening.
26/03/2021 - 23:51 (UTC+0): We've began migrating servers utilising the subnets: 5.196.153.XX and 51.38.161.XX (ahead of schedule in this case due to complications), services now offline and migrating. We expect these services to be completed relatively quickly.
26/03/2021 - 00:16 (UTC+0): All services utilising the subnet: 5.196.153.XX have now been migrated and are back online. We're now starting on the subnet: 51.38.161.XX.
26/03/2021 - 01:29 (UTC+0): All services with IPv4 addresses within the subnet: 51.38.161.XX have now been migrated and are back online. We'll carry on with other migrations scheduled above later today.
27/03/2021 - 21:51 (UTC+0): We will now begin migrating services utilising the subnet: 51.254.48.XXX. We expect this to take some time hence please be patient during this.
28/03/2021 - 04:20 (UTC+1): All services with IPv4 addresses within the subnet: 51.254.48.XXX have now been migrated and are back online. We'll carry on with the final migrations scheduled above later today.
28/03/2021 - 16:40 (UTC+0): We will now begin migrating services utilising the subnet: 37.59.194.XXX. We expect this to take some time hence please be patient during this.
28/03/2021 - 17:35 (UTC+0): All services have now been migrated and are online, apologies for any inconvenience caused by the upgrades - operation complete.
DBH-FR01/FR03: Service Restructure (Task Complete, type: Maintenance, impacted: DBH-FR01, DBH-FR03).
Task created at: 18/03/2021 - 02:19 (UTC+0), completed between: 28/03/2021 - 00:00 (UTC+0) and 28/03/2021 - 01:30 (UTC+0).
We will carry out a restructure of our Discord Bot Hosting host systems in Gravelines, France; resulting in the closure of DBH-FR03 and relocation of DBH-FR01 for improved reliability. All services based upon DBH-FR03 will be assigned a new IPv4 address and port, services on DBH-FR01 will not see any impact beyond a minor downtime to enable the migration.
28/03/2021 - 00:30 (UTC+0): We will now begin migrating DBH-FR01, all services from DBH-FR03 have been migrated; server has now been shutdown and closed.
28/03/2021 - 01:00 (UTC+0): We've migrated the data of DBH-FR01, due to a technical delay; the IPv4 address reroute is taking a significant amount of time. Once complete, we can bring the server back online; if too long operation will be cancelled and rescheduled.
28/03/2021 - 02:40 (UTC+0): Unfortunately, we've still not been able to get the IPv4 address re-routed. We've tried to make another address available to the machine but it's facing the same issue meaning we're not yet able to bring up the server. Apologies for the extended delay.
28/03/2021 - 03:00 (UTC+0): Unfortunately, we don't think that this is going to be resolved any time soon hence we've taken the decision to temporarily restore the old DBH-FR01 and close this node entirely; all services are now being migrated to DBH-FR02. Apologies for any inconvenience.
28/03/2021 - 03:20 (UTC+0): We've restored all services on DBH-FR02, we've attempted to maintain all existing port assignments where possible; this does mean an IPv4 address change. DBH-FR01 will return to production once all operations necessary are complete, services will not migrate back unless requested. Apologies for the significant delay and inconvenience caused.
